When Jesus walked on the earth He said that one of the reasons the Spirit of God was upon Him was to anoint Him to heal the brokenhearted.
Hearts were broken in His day and hearts are broken today. I’m grateful to caring people like Lambs Hope that strive to bring healing to the brokenhearted. They minister comfort by their physical presence to those who are facing death with encouragement, sitting in silence sometimes, and patient listening to those in need.
They also administer comfort by praying for those that are hurting. The kind of praying that leads everybody into the presence of the living Father where His peace comes to the troubled hearts. Lambs Hope also administers comfort by sharing hope through the Word of God. They want every person to know that God loves them and wants to be in a personal relationship with them. Because we are all sinners we miss the mark of God’s perfection( Romans 3:23). Since there is no way we could come to God, the Bible says that God came to us. He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, who was perfect, to die in the place of our sin. Jesus became our substitute. He died in the place of our sin.( Romans 5:8)
The Bible says if we trust, put our confidence in, upon Jesus, the Savior who died in our place and rose again, He forgives us of our sin and allows us to enter a personal relationship with God and to be with Him in Heaven.
One way to express you trust (faith) in Christ can be through a prayer similar to this; Dear God, I know I’m a sinner. I know that my sin deserves to be punished. I believe Christ died for me and rose from the grave. I trust Jesus Christ alone as my Savior. Thank you for the forgiveness and everlasting life I now have. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Remember it’s not a prayer that save you, it is trusting Jesus Christ that saves. Prayer is simply how you tell God what you are doing.
There is nothing more important than your need to trust Christ. Lambs Hope was created to help you in your time of need and to point you to the only lasting Hope that you can have by trusting in Jesus.
